LSE Fellow in International Political Economy (2 vacancies)

 

Salary from £36,647 to £44,140 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £47,456 pa inclusive of London allowance

 

These are fixed term appointment for 2 years

 

Applications are invited for two LSE Fellowships in International Political Economy based in the Department of International Relations to commence on 1 September 2021.  Each Fellowship is a fixed-term appointment for two years.

 

The appointed person/s will contribute to research and teaching on international political economy in the International Relations Department at the LSE, including teaching on undergraduate and masters-level courses.  A developing research record/experience in teaching on the environment/climate change would be desirable.

 

Candidates should have:

  • successfully completed, or be close to completing a PhD in international relations or related discipline, by the post start date;
  • have a very good knowledge of international political economy;
  • a developing research record on international political economy is required; a focus on environment and climate change, may be an advantage.
  • excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • the ability to work in close partnership with fellow teachers and to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment;
  • and a commitment to equality and diversity.

 

Relevant teaching experience, experience of managing and contributing to course virtual learning environments, and experience in carrying out course administration are desirable.
