{"id":82458,"date":"2023-01-06T14:55:05","date_gmt":"2023-01-06T14:55:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rubyskynews.com\/?p=82458"},"modified":"2023-01-06T14:55:05","modified_gmt":"2023-01-06T14:55:05","slug":"job-vacancy-training-and-events-manager-european-citizen-action-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rubyskynews.com\/index.php\/2023\/01\/06\/job-vacancy-training-and-events-manager-european-citizen-action-service\/","title":{"rendered":"Job vacancy\/ Training and Events\u2019 Manager\/ European Citizen Action Service"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-82460\" src=\"http:\/\/rubyskynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/321745117_3410772709167779_1185664980078359242_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"365\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rubyskynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/321745117_3410772709167779_1185664980078359242_n.jpg 700w, https:\/\/rubyskynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/321745117_3410772709167779_1185664980078359242_n-300x156.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Job location: Brussels<\/h4>\n<h4>Base salary: 2000\u20ac per month<\/h4>\n<h4>Date posted:January 06, 2023<\/h4>\n<h4>Valid through: January 21, 2023<\/h4>\n<h3>Description of the Job<\/h3>\n<p>The successful candidate will coordinate the implementation of ECAS\u2019 training and events\u2019 agenda in its EU RIGHTS and EUROPEAN DEMOCRACY focus areas and its promotion during the European Year of Skills (2023).<\/p>\n<p>ECAS\u2019 events target diverse audiences, such as civil society organisations, public authorities, decision makers, experts, citizens etc.<\/p>\n<p>ECAS\u2019 training activities take place both online and in the form of offline events in Brussels and in the EU Member States.<\/p>\n<p>ECAS\u2019 Training and Events\u2019 Manager should have an excellent understanding of the European Values, European citizenship issues and an ambition to ensure diversity and inclusion of underrepresented groups in ECAS\u2019 activities.<\/p>\n<p>Commitment to ECAS\u2019 mission and values is a must.<\/p>\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<p>Reporting to the Director of ECAS and working in close collaboration with ECAS\u2019 team members, the<\/p>\n<p>Candidate will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the implementation of ECAS\u2019 training and events\u2019 agenda.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate ECAS\u2019 training and awareness raising events.<\/li>\n<li>Consolidate and digitalise ECAS\u2019 training experience and expertise.<\/li>\n<li>Design new training modules.<\/li>\n<li>Recruit training and events\u2019 participants.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage ECAS\u2019 online courses.<\/li>\n<li>Promote ECAS\u2019 Training Center through a tailor-made campaign during the European Year of Skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Knowledge and Experience<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">University or Master\u2019s Degree in Law, International Relations, Political Science, European Studies or any other relevant field.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">At least 5 years of professional experience in training and\/or events\u2019 organisation.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Excellent knowledge of the EU decision-making process.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Excellent knowledge of European Values, European citizenship, EU Rights and European Democracy \u2013 related issues.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Experience in training management and delivery, including KPIs -related reporting.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Experience in designing\/managing online courses.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Public speaking experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Skills Required<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">English language proficiency \u2013 written and oral.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Events\u2019 management skills.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Excellent organisational skills.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Friendly, social, proactive.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Innovative and result-orientated.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Team worker but capable of performing tasks independently.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Capable to working under pressure and observing strict deadlines.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Capable of multitasking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Contract<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The position is based in Brussels. The successful candidate will be offered a one-year contract with a possibility of transforming it into a permanent employment contract after a performance review evaluation. The salary depends on the experience of the candidate. The starting salary is EUR 2,000 net, including benefits.
