{"id":77326,"date":"2021-07-13T18:20:55","date_gmt":"2021-07-13T18:20:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rubyskynews.com\/?p=77326"},"modified":"2021-07-13T18:20:55","modified_gmt":"2021-07-13T18:20:55","slug":"job-vacancy-traineeship-position-at-women4cyber","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rubyskynews.com\/index.php\/2021\/07\/13\/job-vacancy-traineeship-position-at-women4cyber\/","title":{"rendered":"Job vacancy\/ Traineeship position at Women4Cyber"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-77327\" src=\"http:\/\/rubyskynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/plopandrei.com_.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"636\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rubyskynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/plopandrei.com_.jpg 900w, https:\/\/rubyskynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/plopandrei.com_-300x212.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rubyskynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/plopandrei.com_-768x543.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"col-5\">\n<div class=\"text text--medium\">\n<h4>Traineeship position<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-5 push-1\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>The Women4Cyber Foundation offers a challenging and interesting full-time (remunerated) traineeship position with real development opportunities in order to help carry out its activities.<u><br \/>\n<\/u><\/div>\n<h6>Job Description<\/h6>\n<p>Under the supervision of the W4C Secretary-General and Managers, the trainee will implement and carry out the activities of the Women4Cyber initiative.<br \/>\nThe trainee will provide support to content-based communication and administrative tasks for the daily management of the Women4Cyber Foundation, as well as provide ad-hoc support to the Secretariat.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES<\/u><\/p>\n<p><u><br \/>\n<\/u>The trainee will provide support to the following tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administration: Update &amp; manage the Women4Cyber database and distribution lists on a daily basis; reply to requests from community members on an ad hoc basis; draft emails; support the logistical implementation of the Women4Cyber local\/national chapters.<\/li>\n<li>Event management \/ Meeting preparation: Support the preparation of Women4Cyber internal and external events and meetings (book venues, deal with logistics arrangements, prepare meeting material under supervision); prepare minutes of meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Communication: closely monitor and update the W4C social media channels; draft and help prepare the W4C social media messages on the different platforms; support the preparation of the quarterly newsletter (which includes updates and research on articles, videos and events); support the preparation and launch of the campaigns undertaken by W4C; proactively suggest innovative ideas to engage the W4C community and improve the visibility of the W4C Foundation.<\/li>\n<li>Research: Follow and report on other gender-related initiatives in cybersecurity\/tech\/digital in Europe as well as in the Member States, in the public, private and academic sector; help identify potential partnerships and support engagement with key stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Roadmap of Actions and other tasks: Support the implementation of concrete actions under the W4C Roadmap of Actions; help identify fundraising opportunities or partnerships; contribute to other ad-hoc tasks occurring in the daily work or as requested by the Secretariat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Requirements<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have at least 1 to 2 years of experience working in Brussels or in an international environment (think tank, NGO, membership-based association, EU Institutions);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven interest in cybersecurity and\/or gender-inclusive policies &amp; initiatives;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactive, flexible and independent are important pre-requisites;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent English verbal &amp; written communication skills.
