Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update:\u00a0<\/b>The World Bank Group is closely monitoring COVID-19 developments. The safety of our current and prospective staff is our highest priority. As of now, YPP recruitment processes are ongoing and will be modified to virtual platforms. Candidates will receive related updates as the process moves along.<\/p>\n

Please note<\/b><\/i>: the review process for World Bank and MIGA candidates is delayed, with the onboarding of all successful candidates still scheduled for September 2021. Virtual interviews are currently underway through the month of June.<\/p>\n

PROGRAM UPDATE:<\/b>\u00a0The World Bank and IFC have merged their respective Young Professionals Programs into one World Bank Group Young Professionals Program (WBG YPP).<\/p>\n

The new program is now accepting applications on behalf of three institutions (the\u00a0World Bank<\/a>,\u00a0IFC<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0MIGA<\/a>).\u00a0 Building on the rich legacy of its predecessor programs, the WBG YPP will recruit and develop future leaders to collaborate effectively across our institutions on joint WBG solutions to development challenges.<\/p>\n

Young Professionals are recruited from around the world, with preference to nationals of\u00a0WBG member countries<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0countries of operations.<\/a>\u00a0We welcome all qualified individuals from diverse professional, academic, and cultural backgrounds to apply.<\/p>\n

PROGRAM<\/b><\/p>\n

The WBG YPP\u00a0<\/b>is a two-year leadership development program at the start of a five-year employment contract with the World Bank, IFC or MIGA. Young Professionals (YPs) start the program in Washington, DC, where they engage in intensive training\u2014on-the-job and in the classroom\u2014learning the fundamentals of leadership and development operations across institutions, and how to identify opportunities for joint impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
