What is Transparency International School on Integrity?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Transparency International School on Integrity is\u00a0an annual state-of-the-art anti-corruption and accountability training for future\u00a0<\/strong>leaders. The School exposes its participants to the latest developments in the field of anti-corruption and accountability and offers real opportunities to try and implement their ideas in practice.<\/p>\n

The upcoming School will be held in an all-empowering format\u00a0online on 2-7 August 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following a rigorous selection process, students will\u00a0attend interactive online sessions and learn from leading anti-corruption and accountability professionals.<\/strong>\u00a0Transparency School seeks to create a peer-to-peer learning and integrity-building environment that links theory with practice and helps young leaders to acquire skills to better convey the message of anti-corruption.<\/p>\n

The lectures, seminars, and trainings provide the School participants with a unique blend of international and local knowledge, while also challenging students to approach the subject from a new perspective and offer novel, previously untested solutions. Since 2010, Transparency School has welcomed some\u00a01300 youth leaders from more than 120 countries<\/strong>\u00a0worldwide. In 2019, Transparency International Lithuania received the\u00a0Amalia anti-corruption award<\/strong>\u00a0for the impact of the Transparency School.<\/p>\n

Tuition fees
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Transparency School 2021 tuition fee is\u00a05<\/strong>00 EUR.<\/b><\/p>\n

A limited number of full tuition fee waivers is available for applicants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Ukraine and Taiwan.<\/p>\n

In addition, there is a limited number of partial tuition fee waivers available.<\/p>\n

Also, university students of\u00a0Nordplus Law Network<\/strong>\u00a0partner universities (from Denmark, Estonia, Finland,\u00a0Iceland, Latvia,\u00a0Norway and Sweden) are entitled to receive Nordplus mobility grant. List of universities can be found\u00a0here<\/a>.\u00a0Nordplus Law Network coordinator will contact you regarding the scholarship, which amounts to\u00a070 EUR<\/strong>,\u00a0once you are selected and confirmed your participation.<\/p>\n

Is this School for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

This one is easy. Transparency School is for\u00a0senior students, graduates and young professionals under the age of 35\u00a0eager to learn how to stand up\u00a0<\/strong>against corruption and how to achieve greater transparency in their country.<\/strong>\u00a0Moving the School to a fully\u00a0online format<\/strong>\u00a0presents participants with the unique opportunity to spotlight the best of what the online format offers \u2013 meaningful collaboration and the ability to reflect and connect with colleagues from around the world.<\/p>\n

The virtual Transparency School will offer interactive lectures and seminars, an \u2018unconference-like\u2019 atmosphere and opportunities to engage with fellow participants. These include workshops and virtual social and networking activities which provide the space to connect with peers from across the globe.<\/p>\n

The School usually hosts an equal share of participants from private and public\u00a0sectors, NGOs and academia from all over the world. Such diversity in background and experience further strengthens\u00a0our applied approach to anti-corruption and transparency. Therefore, participants not only learn about the causes of corruption but also spend a large part of their time learning practical ways in which\u00a0societies can become more transparent and accountable.<\/p>\n

Transparency School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, sex, gender identity, religion, political beliefs, marital, familial or parental status, sexual orientation or any other basis.<\/p>\n

Transparency School is organized in cooperation with\u00a0Mykolas Romeris Law School<\/a>\u00a0in Vilnius. Its mission is to educate young people to become creative, innovative and productive members of society in all areas, from science\u00a0to culture\u00a0and technology.\u00a0Currently MRU enrolls approximately 9.000 students and employs over 700 academic staff.<\/p>\n

Deadline for applications<\/strong><\/p>\n

The deadline for applications is 11 July 2021.
\n<\/strong>Candidates will be notified about the outcome of their application on a rolling basis (and by\u00a015 July 2021\u00a0<\/strong>at the latest), therefore, we encourage you to apply at your earliest convenience.<\/p>\n

The deadline for applications for a full tuition fee waiver is 4 July 2021.
\n<\/strong>Candidates applying for a full tuition fee waiver will be notified about the outcome of their application by\u00a015 July 2021\u00a0<\/strong>at the latest.<\/p>\n

The application process<\/strong><\/p>\n

Applying is really simple\u00a0\u2013 just\u00a0fill out and submit our online application form (please find it below).<\/p>\n

Please note that you will be asked to upload a short motivational letter along with your Europass CV. We strongly advise that you prepare these in advance and have them ready before you start filling out your application form.<\/p>\n

The following documents are required in order to complete your application<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

1. Europass Curriculum Vitae (CV);
\n2. Motivation letter (max 500 words);
\n3. Completed online form.<\/p>\n

Upon receipt of your notification, you will be asked to transfer the tuition fee of 500 EUR (in case you are not eligible for a fee waiver) to the designated bank account. We will confirm your admission upon receiving the tuition fee.<\/p>\n
