\n 5th edition of the All About Photo Awards invites photographers from
\naround the world to submit their best work for consideration. In
\nreference to Henri Cartier-Bresson’s photo essay, The Mind’s Eye
\ninvestigates the depth and thoughts behind each image.<\/div>\n
\n“To
\n take photographs means to recognize – simultaneously and within a
\nfraction of a second – both the fact itself and the rigorous
\norganization of visually perceived forms that give it meaning. It is
\nputting one’s head, one’s eye and one’s heart on the same axis.”<\/i>
\nHenri Cartier-Bresson<\/p>\n

Winners will receive $10,000<\/b> in cash awards, extensive press coverage and global recognition.
\nThe grand prize is $5,000, the 2nd prize is $2,000, the 3rd prize is $1,500, the 4th prize is $1,000 and the 5th prize is $500!<\/p>\n

All winners will have their work published\/showcased on the websites
\nLenscratch, Daylighted’s digital traveling exhibition worldwide, All
\nAbout Photo Winners Gallery and featured in the printed issue of AAP
\nMagazine “Special Edition All About Photo Awards 2020”.
In addition, a
\n selection of entrants of particular merit will be invited to display
\ntheir portfolio on the website www.all-about-photo.com\n<\/div>\n

    \n About Photo Awards, The Mind’s Eye is open to all individuals age 18
    \nand older. It is open to professional and amateur photographers alike.<\/li>\n

    Is there a theme?<\/b><\/p>\n

  • Open.
    \n The competition is open to all genres and subject matter will be
    \nconsidered. All types of photography, from digital to analog to
    \nalternative processes and beyond are encouraged to enter. All works must
    \n be original.<\/li>\n

    How many photos can I enter?<\/b><\/p>\n

  • Up to 40 images. Photographs will be judged individually and not as a unified group of photos.<\/li>\n

    What is the cost of participating?<\/b><\/p>\n

  • $30 (US Dollars) for the 3 first images.
    \n $5 (US Dollars) for each additional image.<\/li>\n

    What is the schedule?<\/b><\/p>\n

  • Competition opens: December 05, 2019.<\/li>\n
  • Competitions closes: January 31, 2020.<\/li>\n
  • Judging process starts: February 09, 2020.<\/li>\n

    \n you have not already a profile on All About Photo, you have first to
    \nregister on our website. Then you will be able to log in and to upload
    \nyour photos in your gallery. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO EDIT YOUR
    \nSUBMISSION NOR TO ADD MORE IMAGES AFTER THE PAYMENT HAS BEEN PROCESSED.
    \nPLEASE REVIEW YOUR COMPLETED ENTRIES BEFORE PROCEEDING TO PAYMENT.<\/li>\n

    What size and format should I upload photos in?<\/b><\/p>\n

  • No Watermarks.<\/li>\n
  • Saved as JPEG or JPG.<\/li>\n
  • Resolution of 72 dpi.<\/li>\n
  • Grayscale or RGB profile.<\/li>\n
  • Layers must be flattened.<\/li>\n
  • Digital file should not exceed 2 MB.<\/li>\n
  • Longest dimension should not exceed 1200 pixels, with a minimum size of 200 pixels.<\/li>\n

    What about copyright?<\/b><\/p>\n

  • All About Photo recognizes you, the author of the image, retain full ownership of the copyright in each Entry.<\/li>\n

    Who pays taxes?<\/b><\/p>\n
