\n Moremi Initiative for Women\u2019s
\nLeadership in Africa invites applications from exceptional emerging
\nAfrican women leaders for the 2020 MiLEAD Fellows Program- to identify Africa\u2019s most promising women leaders. <\/em><\/div>\n
\nThe MILEAD Fellows Program is a
\nlong-term and paradigm-shifting leadership development program to
\nidentify, develop and promote a new generation of young African female
\nleaders to attain and thrive in critical leadership across Africa. The
\nprogram targets dynamic young women interested in developing
\ntransformational leadership skills that help them address issues facing
\nwomen and girls across communities in Africa. The MILEAD Program equips
\nFellows with the world class knowledge, skills, values and support
\nsystems they need to succeed as 21st century women leaders. Applications
\n are invited from young African women between 19 \u2013 25 years of age, living in Africa and in the Diaspora.<\/strong><\/div>\n
\nThe MILEAD Fellowship will be awarded to
\n 25 outstanding young women who have exhibited leadership potential in
\ntheir community, organization, and\/or profession. To be eligible for the
\n program, an applicant must be African, living on the continent or in
\nthe Diaspora; agree to participate in all <\/em>required activities
\nrelated to MILEAD \u2013 beginning with a three-week residential Summer
\nInstitute in Ghana; and commit to a community change project. Specific
\nrequirements of the program and related dates are outlined in the
\napplication package. Please review program and application guidelines
\ncarefully, before completing your application<\/div>\n
\nPlease note<\/em><\/strong> that
\n this one-year program is not a full-time fellowship. Selected
\ncandidates may remain full time students or work full time for the
\nprogram duration, except during the 3\u2013week summer institute. The 3-week
\nsummer institute is an intensive and full-time residential program and
\nall fellows will be required to attend. The rest of the program involves
\n community-based, online and other distance activities.<\/em><\/div>\n
\nWe invite you to share this application

\nyour network who have the passion and potential to help transform the
\ncontinent.<\/div>\n
