The New Humanitarian is looking for a sharp editorial intern to help
\nus expand our investigative coverage. The ideal candidate will have some
\n experience in investigative journalism, be bursting with ideas, smart,
\nhard-working and come with a passion for uncovering stories that have
\nyet to be told. Candidates should be solid writers, critical thinkers
\nand have an understanding of the global humanitarian sector. The
\npay-off? Working with a team of experienced journalists on big
\ninvestigative projects that require research, interviews and data
\nanalysis. Interns will work remotely with the investigations editor
\nduring Central European Time business hours.<\/p>\n

\nRequirements:<\/h3>\n

Experience in investigative journalism, either with a news
\norganisation or through a graduate journalism program that focuses on
\ninvestigative journalism. Adherence to high journalistic standards of
\naccuracy and precision. Multimedia experience and fluency in written and
\n spoken English are mandatory.<\/p>\n

\nOverview:<\/h3>\n

The investigative journalism intern with work alongside the
\ninvestigations editor, as well as other investigative journalists, to
\nhelp pitch, research, fact-check and contribute to investigative
\nprojects. Other duties may include data scraping, data analysis and
\nvisualisation, as well as reporting and helping to conduct interviews.
\nThe intern must be comfortable working remotely and independently.<\/p>\n
