Are you a change-maker, rain-maker, ground-breaker?
\n Do you see opportunity where others see crisis? Do you want to change
\nthe world? Young Champions of the Earth aims to celebrate and support
\nindividuals aged between 18 and 30 who have outstanding potential to
\ncreate a positive environmental impact. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nLead a new wave<\/h3>\n

Global warming is forcing our societies, our
\neconomies and our world to change. Our ways of doing business,
\nour careers and our job opportunities need to change, too. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With this change comes an unprecedented opportunity
\n for brave entrepreneurs and trend-setting role models to take
\naction, to carve their place in a new and greener economy, to pioneer
\nrevolutionary technology and radical innovations, and <\/span><\/span><\/span>to lead a new wave of green careers.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nWe’re searching for you!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

In 2020, seven young people \u2013 selected from every
\nglobal region \u2013 will be named Young Champions of the Earth. These
\nwinners receive seed funding, intensive training and tailored mentoring
\nto bring their big environmental ideas to life. We\u2019re looking for
\nartists, scientists, economists, communicators and entrepreneurs from
\nall walks of life who have big, bold ideas \u2013 for the environment, for
\nhumanity, for a greener future. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nWhose big idea will change the world? <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Shortlisted finalists from every region will be
\nselected following an open call for applications. A Global Jury will
\nthen choose seven winners. Each winner is expected to implement their
\nbig idea and keep UNEP updated on their progress by producing videos and
\n blogs that we will share on our website. Winners will also be given
\nfunding to support their communication efforts throughout the year, so
\nthat they can produce high-quality materials to share with our
\naudiences.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
