\nFatima Al-FihriOpen University is an international non-profit educational institution established
\nonline in Feb, 2016. Since then, it has been growing at an incredible pace. Currently, we are
\na team of multinational youths working in various countries worldwide and passionately
\ncommitted to our goal of creating an inclusive learning environment that elevates our students
\nand gives meaning to their educational experiences. Thus, we are offering open and
\naccessible tools for the university level education of individuals worldwide who have earned
\ntheir high school diploma, regardless of age, country, educational or cultural background.
\nSince almost all the UN and development entities consider education a crucial driver of
\ndevelopment, we envision an abundant, developed world in which individuals can easily
\naccess higher education. We are confident that with our tireless, diligent work, and the support
\nof inspired others towards the Sustainable Development Goal of “equitable quality education
\nand promote lifelong learning opportunities for all” our vision can be achieved.
\nWe will continue to transform lives through education without over emphasizing on eligibility
\nrequirements, building on our success and delivering our mission in a changing world. We aim
\nto provide a flexible education system that can be accessed by anyone interested in pursuing
\ntheir studies at university level by taking advantage of the Internet and modern technology
\navailable to us; thus, our slogan “A New Generation of Education”. Because we believe that
\nopen and free education is a right for everyone, we have taken the first steps and created
\n\u201cFatima AL-Fihri Open University\u201d, an online university with various academic programs,
\naccessible from everywhere and to everyone without pre-conditions or entrance exams. It’s a
\nuniversity which gives you higher education for free and with convenient self-paced study
\noptions.
\nThe University is currently working to provide short courses (Between six weeks and 12
\nweeks) by the beginning of 2019, to achieve this goal, we open a Volunteer and Internship
\nprograms for youth around the world.
\nBENEFITS

\nPROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
\n\u2022 Proficiency in English language.
\n\u2022 Basic understanding of computer and internet applications.
\n\u2022 Access to internet at least twice a week.
\n\u2022 Ability to learn and act in a fast-paced environment.
\n\u2022 Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
\n\u2022 High motivation to learn and grow professionally.
\n\u2022 Ability to work in a multicultural, multi-ethnic environment and to maintain effective
\nworking relations with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
\nAVAILABLE POSITIONS
\n\u00a7 Human Resources Officer:
\n– Manage HR data at FAOU.
\n– Communicate with internal team and response to public issues.
\n– Coordinate with other HR colleagues on implementing HR instructions and rules.
\n– Work with HR Manager to prepare recruitment campaigns.
\n\u00a7 Communication Officer:
\n– Communicate with potential partners and donors.
\n– Arrange for coordination between the council of directors of the University and the
\ndepartment of public relations. Or;
\n– Communicate with University teams to help sharing and collecting information and
\ndata.
\n– Analyze the data collected and prepare reports based on it.
\n\u00a7 Partnership Officer:
\n– Search for potential partners and formulate partnerships proposals.
\n– Communicate with potential partners and donors.
\n– Support partnership negotiations and meetings.
\n\u00a7 Marketing Officer:
\n– Communicate with University teams to help sharing and collecting information and
\ndata.
\n– Analyze the data collected and prepare reports based on it.
\n– Work on Marketing strategies to promote university brand and courses.
\n\u00a7 Social Media Editor:
\n– Possess great writing skills in English Language.
\n– Possibility of posting on the page multiple times per week.
\n– Ability to work on image editing (Availability of photo designer\u2019s help).
\n\u00a7 Social Media Officer:
\n– Possess great writing skills in English Language.
\n– Ability to run social media platforms such Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
\n– Creative ideas to drive the audience and increase the followers.
\n\u00a7 Pedagogical Affairs Officer:
\n– Good communication and coordination skills.
\n– Ability to join a team working on designing educational programs.
\n– Ability to analyze data and reports to help the university suggest new courses.
\n– Ability to draft pedagogical files (From University Templates).
\n– Search for and communicate with new professors & teachers (Under the supervision of
\nmanagers).
\n– Facilitate and Coordinate one of the Modules (Courses) at the University.
\n\u00a7 IT Officer:
\n– Experience in the field of applications and internet.
\n– Give support to University teams to solve IT problems.
\n\u00a7 Platform Officer:
\n– Experience in the field of Web designing.
\n– Be part of the platform Team to help in developing the content of the University platform.
\n\u00a7 Photo Designer and Editor:
\n– Design photos for educational courses provided by the University.
\n\u00a7 Video Designer and Editor:
\n– Design and edit videos for educational courses provided by the University.
\n\u00a7 Newsletter Manager:
\n– Work closely with managers of different teams and directors of departments to collect
\ninformation about the project.
\n– Draft a Monthly Newsletter with all collected information.
\n– Engage in one to one conversation and contact with members of the University to cover
\ntheir monthly updates.
