Applicants should have a background in science and engineering. The value of the scheme is up to a maximum of \u00a320,000 (including VAT where applicable), and is expected to cover the following:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #333132; font-family: inherit; font-size: 1.6em; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; list-style: none; margin: 0px 0px 22px 15px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;\">\n<li style=\"border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; font: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px 0px 22px; vertical-align: baseline;\">Salary equivalent to 0.2 FTE of the award holder\u2019s current salary to spend 20% of their working time at the host. The EiR&#8217;s basic salary only will be paid during the secondment; the EiR&#8217;s employer will continue to pay national insurance and pension contributions<\/li>\n<li style=\"border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; font: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px 0px 22px; vertical-align: baseline;\">Travel and project costs for award holder to travel to and from their host, and accommodation if required.
