DESCRIPTION<\/h1>\n
AcuuWeather and the Royal Meteorological Society are looking for the best photographs from around the world that depict weather in its widest sense. This could range from weather phenomena such as clouds, lightning, rain, fog and wind through to the impact of weather on man, cities and the natural landscape.<\/div>\n
There are two categories for the competition; 17 years and over<\/strong>, and 16 years and under<\/strong>. 1st<\/span>, 2nd<\/span> and 3rd  place will be awarded in both age categories, as well \u2018The Public\u2019s Favourite\u2019 and the overall Weather Photographer of the Year 2018. The winners will be announced in Autumn 2018<\/strong>.<\/div>\n
In addition to the sponsor AccuWeather<\/strong>, the competiton is also supported by Olympus<\/strong> and Epson.<\/strong><\/div>\n

ELIGIBILITY<\/h1>\n
Calling for entries from all photographers worldwide, professional or amateur, the competition is looking for the best images depicting weather in its widest sense.<\/div>\n

AWARDS<\/h1>\n
Weather Photographer of the Year 2018, Overall Winner<\/strong>:
GBP 500 cash, plus Olympus TG-5 Tough camera, plus RMetS membership for the year.<\/div>\n
Weather Photographer of the Year (17 Years and above):<\/strong>First Runner Up \u2013 GBP 250 cash, plus RMetS membership for the year;
Second Runner Up \u2013 GBP 200 cash, plus RMetS membership for the year;
Third Runner Up \u2013 GBP 150 cash, plus RMetS membership for the year.<\/div>\n
Young Weather Photographer of the Year 2018 (16 Years and under):<\/strong>Young Weather Photographer of the Year 2018 \u2013 GBP 100 cash, plus Olympus TG-5 Tough camera, plus RMetS membership for the year;
Runner up \u2013 GBP 50 cash, plus RMetS membership for the year.<\/div>\n
Public Favourite:<\/strong>
