\u00a0The mission of WFP is to end global hunger. Every day, WFP works worldwide to ensure that no child goes to bed hungry and that the poorest and most vulnerable, particularly women and children, can access the nutritious food they need.<\/div>\n
\u00a0In emergencies, WFP gets food to where it is needed, saving the lives of victims of war, civil conflict and natural disasters. After an emergency, WFP uses food to help communities rebuild their shattered lives. Present in nearly 80 countries, the organization has the global footprint, deep field presence and local knowledge and relationships necessary to provide access to nutritious food and contribute to the lasting solutions, especially in many of the world\u2019s most remote and fragile areas.<\/div>\n
\u00a0The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is the world\u2019s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. On average, WFP reaches more than 80 million people with food assistance in 80 countries each year. About 14,600 people work for WFP and 90% of them work in the field.<\/div>\n
\u00a0The WFP Seoul office is located at the Seoul National University and main operations include resource mobilization, advocacy and support of WFP field operations. We are seeking qualified candidates to apply for the position below.\u00a0 \u00a0This internship is fulltime and starts from 1 July 2018 to 31 December 2018, extendable.<\/div>\n
\u00a0Key outputs\/Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0A private partnership\/admin intern will be expected to show results in the form of high quality documentations\/contents in support of private sector partnership and operation of the Seoul Office and awareness-raising of hunger issues and WFP in the Republic of Korea ultimately. The research conducted by this intern will be used to support the strategic planning of private sector partnership as well as the administrative operation of the Seoul office. He\/She will also provide a quality input for updating individual, corporate and governmental donor database.<\/div>\n
\u00a0Under the direct supervision of Administration\/Finance Personnel of WFP Korea Office, within delegated authority, this intern will mainly have the following areas of responsibility:<\/div>\n
\u00a0Assist in managing financial report\/data of WFP Seoul Office<\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Assist in procurement \/ HR process;<\/li>\n
  2. Assist in travel\/meeting arrangement;<\/li>\n
  3. Assist in managing individual donation for Korean donors;<\/li>\n
  4. Conduct market research; identify, analyse and provide data to others to support them in developing private sector partnership and identifying its future prospect that can help achieve WFP\u2019s strategic objectives;<\/li>\n
  5. Assist in establishing private sector partnership of the Seoul Office;<\/li>\n
  6. Assist in translating requested information in Korean and\/or English;<\/li>\n
  7. Perform other related tasks as required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    \u00a0Essential Requirements:<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \u00a0Currently enrolled with at least two years undergraduate studies completed, or completed at least one year of graduate studies; or recently completed graduate studies (graduation in the past six months) in Political Science, International Relations, International Development\/Cooperation, Economics, Public Administration, Public Relations or other relevant field\u00a0(ODA-related preferred)<\/em><\/strong><\/div>\n
