Each year students will be invited to explore issues touching on the intersection of immigration, law, social justice, and multiculturalism.<\/div>\n<div><span>The topic for the inaugural Global Mobility Immigration Lawyers Scholarship is:\u00a0<\/span><em>Immigration lawyers acting for asylum seekers are \u201cunAustralian\u201d.<\/em><\/div>\n<h1>ELIGIBILITY<\/h1>\n<ol>\n<li><span>Applicants must be enrolled in a course of secondary or tertiary education or otherwise a postgraduate course of practical training required for qualification in any given vocation\/profession.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Submissions:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span>(a) must be capable of being read\/viewed\/engaged with online;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>(b) must be original content and not published anywhere else;<\/li>\n<li><span>(c) must not be offensive or defamatory.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>AWARD<\/h1>\n<div><span>The winner shall be awarded:<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li><span>\u00a0<strong>USD<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>1,000<\/strong>; and<\/span><\/li>\n<li>an additional\u00a0<span><strong>USD 1,000<\/strong>\u00a0donated to their choice of:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span>community legal center;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>university\/school\/TAFE;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>any non-profit that assists immigrants.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>HOW TO APPLY?<\/h1>\n<div><span>Submit your entry and evidence of enrolment to<a href=\"mailto:info@glomo.com.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>info@glomo.com.au<\/a>\u00a0with the subject heading \u201cScholarship Submission 2018\u201d.
