The participants will learn and engage in interactive sessions throughout the 7-day programme touching upon, among others, human rights advocacy and mechanisms, global campaigns, and sustainable development. All participants will receive high-quality reading and training materials. All sessions will be conducted in English.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dates &amp; Venue<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The second edition of the Global Advocacy Learning Programme on Human Rights &amp; Development will take place in a green and peaceful location outside of Bangkok, Thailand from 5-11 November 2018. Details about the venue will be announced soon on FORUM-ASIA website, Facebook &amp; Twitter.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Participants<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Participants from all over Asia and beyond are expected to participate in the second edition of the Global Advocacy Learning Programme on Human Rights &amp; Development. Their participation will be fully covered by FORUM-ASIA.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will be selected based on the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Genuine interest in issues related to human rights\/development\/ governance\/public policy;<\/li>\n<li>Being currently employed in a national, regional or international civil society organisation;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years working experience in organisations addressing issues related to human rights\/ development\/governance\/public policy (applicants with less than 5 years will be considered on an exceptional basis)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected will be contacted.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Due to the limited amount of slots available, we encourage all interested applicants to apply promptly by submitting the duly filled application\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/h5CDHOGjoytNzsao1\">Online Application Form<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0<strong>Wednesday 1\u00a0<\/strong><strong>August 2018<\/strong>.
