{"id":29887,"date":"2020-07-06T01:21:02","date_gmt":"2020-07-06T01:21:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/plopandrei.com\/?p=391"},"modified":"2020-07-06T01:21:02","modified_gmt":"2020-07-06T01:21:02","slug":"apply-now-apply-for-new-eiburs-research-grant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rubyskynews.com\/index.php\/2020\/07\/06\/apply-now-apply-for-new-eiburs-research-grant\/","title":{"rendered":"Apply Now | Apply for new EIBURS research grant!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/plopandrei.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/researchpic_orig.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-392\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The EIB Institute is launching a new EIBURS sponsorship on the following topic:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=uriserv:OJ.C_.2019.050.01.0009.01.ENG&amp;toc=OJ:C:2019:050:TOC\">\u201cBuilding the future of inclusive finance: the role of Fintechs and digitalisation\u201d<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Research proposals should contain a strategy to address the following elements: i) the disruptive potential of technological and financial innovation ii) the use of financial innovations (Fintechs) in the inclusive finance sector iii) evidence on the causal effect of financial innovations: the efficiency of the inclusive finance sector in contributing to the achievement of social policy targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/institute.eib.org\/whatwedo\/knowledge\/funding-research\/eibursnew\/\">EIBURS<\/a>&nbsp;provides grants to universities and research centres&nbsp;working on research topics of major interest to the EIB Group. Sponsorships -of up to EUR 100 000 per year for a period of three years- are awarded through a competitive process to interested university departments or research centres&nbsp; with recognised expertise in the selected area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposals should be submitted in English and sent to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:Events.EIBInstitute@eib.org\">Events.EIBInstitute@eib.org<\/a>&nbsp;by 15 April 2019 24:00 (CET).
